Child safety standards
Viron has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Viron is for adults aged 18+.
What is prohibited
Any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits, grooms or endangers a child, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), is banned everywhere on Viron: pins, events, discussions, replies, stories, chat and profiles.
How we prevent it
- Viron is 18+. Accounts we find belong to a minor are removed.
- You can only see and be seen by your own circle. There is no public search and no way to message strangers outside it.
- Event chats are limited to the host and guests the host picks, and close 12 hours after the start.
- All content disappears within 24 hours.
- Report and block are on every post, reply, story and profile.
- Our moderators review reports, ordered by severity, and can remove content and ban accounts immediately.
How to report
- In the app: tap the report button on the content or profile.
- By email: safety@viron.live.
Reports of CSAE are prioritised. We remove the content, ban the account, preserve the evidence, and report apparent CSAM to the relevant authority, such as the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the local equivalent, as the law requires.
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
Compliance
We comply with applicable child-safety laws and respond to lawful requests from authorities. Our designated child-safety contact is safety@viron.live.
