Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Viron you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Viron.
2. Who can use Viron
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You must give accurate sign-in and profile information, and you may keep only one account.
3. Your circle
We place you in a circle of about 4,096 nearby people using your home location. You can only see and interact with your own circle. Don't provide a false home location or try to join a circle you don't live in.
4. Your content
You own what you post. You give us a limited licence to host, display and transmit it to your circle, and to others you choose to share it with, only to run Viron. Posts expire within 24 hours. Others may have seen, copied or screenshotted your content before it expires, and we can't control that.
5. Community rules
You agree not to:
- harass, threaten, bully, impersonate or discriminate against anyone;
- post sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises or endangers children;
- post violent, hateful, illegal or sexually explicit content;
- post other people's private information, or try to work out another member's exact location;
- spam, scam, or advertise without permission; sell illegal goods or services;
- spread false emergency or outage reports, or interfere with the service or its security;
- use bots or scrapers, or use Viron to organise anything unlawful.
You can report or block anyone, on any content, in the app. Our moderators review reports and may remove content, warn, suspend or ban accounts. If you think we got it wrong you can appeal by emailing support@viron.live.
6. Meeting neighbours safely
Viron connects neighbours; we don't screen members, events or items. You are responsible for what you do offline. Meet in public places when you can, tell someone where you're going, and trust your instincts. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
7. Lending, free items and services
Transactions between members are between those members. We aren't a party, and we don't guarantee quality, safety, or legality of items, events or recommended services.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms or put others at risk.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Viron is provided "as is" and "as available". Outage, power and air-quality information is community-reported and may be wrong. Don't rely on it for safety-critical decisions. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to US$100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material we'll notify you in the app. Continuing to use Viron after the change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes go to the courts of Lahore, unless your local consumer law gives you the right to use your home courts.
